Dvar Torah Parshas Behar Bechukosai

Liyluy Nishmas Elchonon Tzvi Ben R'Yisroel Menachem......In perek chaf vav posuk gimmel it says ''Im Bichukosai tailaichu'' Rashi says in the name of the Toras Kohanim that these words of going in Hashem's Chukim,  are referring to being Ameil Ba'Torah. The word ''Tailaichu'' sounds like there is movement from place to place and therefore there are different pshatim (such as the Gur Aryeh) on how exactly ameilus Ba'Torah fits in to these words. However,Rav Yaakov Aryeh Neiman ztl R'Y of Yeshivas Ohr Yisroel, and author of the darkei mussar brings down a mashal from the son of the Alter of Kelm Rav Nachum Zev ztl. There once was a group of friends who sat down to eat together, while they were sitting together eating, there was no recognizable difference between any man and his friend,The meal ends and slowly they all get up to leave. One man stays where he is,and it is not apparent why he
has not gotten up from the table. However, when you look under the table you'll see that this man has no legs. When everyone was sitting there together it was not recognizeable that this guy had no legs, only after it came time to go did it become apparent. There are times when bochurim are learning in yeshivah, and they all look the same.Only after they leave yeshivah is a difference shown, only then is it obvious who has ''legs'' and who does not. This is what the Torah means by ''Im Bichukosai Tailaichu'' that you should go with the Torah, you should use the Torah as your ''legs'' to go through life,to make you do the right things and stand up up for the truth. Az ka'namer la'asos ritzon avicha she'bashamayim'' Good Shabbos
